Ok parents... great news for those of you who want to find out the gender of your babies in utero.
A blood test that can be done earlier than the usual second trimester ultrasound.
The test is important as well because it can help find medical problems, particularly inherited ones, early on.
Those are typically spotted using amniocentesis, which carries a small risk of miscarriage.
In terms of the gender accuracy, the researchers in the Netherlands found it was 100 percent accurate after using the blood test on 200 pregnant women!
