In today's family first, a great way for us to get rid of those medications collecting dust in your cupboard.
It's called "Med Drop" and it's this Saturday!
There's recently been a voluntary recall on Infants and Childrens Tylenol, Motrin, Benadryl, and Zyrtec.
This "med drop" event is also meant for *nearly empty vitamin drops, unfinished antibiotics, old inhalers, you name it.
Of course, leftover meds can be a safety risk with kids or pets in the house.
And throwing those in the trash or flushing them down the toilet can harm the environment or even your water supply.
MedDrop is a volunteer run program where you can drive through!!
It's this Saturday, June 5, from 9am to 1pm.
There are 3 locations ... LaFollette HS, Middleton HS, and the Sun Prairie Recycling Center.
If possible, please keep your medications in their original containers.
Feel free to cross off your name off ... just leave the name of the medication itself visible.
