Family First: Horse & Carriage Festival
In Family First: most of us take our cars, buses and trains for granted. A local festival is taking us back to the era of the carriage.
Imagine an entire city turning back the clock to 1864, transforming itself into the Victorian-Era community it once was during the Civil War.
That will happen Father's Day weekend at the Columbus Horse & Carriage Festival. The event is free. It also features reenactments, a parade, period dance, music and lawn parties, all to honor the community's role during the Civil War.
