Your kids have a chance this summer to hang out by the lake, and learn at the same time.
The Lakeside Kids program starts Wednesday, June 15, and will run every Wednesday until July 27th.
It takes place on the roof of the Monona Terrace.
Each event will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
There will be a wide variety of local performers, artists, and organizations provide entertainment, hands-on fun, and learning.
"It gives both parents and kids the opportunity to learn about other cultures; to experience a program or other activity that they might have had some interest in, but didn't want to spend the money and find out that they didn't enjoy it, and just to have fun," says Misty Lohrentz from Lakeside Kids.
All events are free and open to the public.
Wednesday's event will give kids a chance to meet the Madison Mallards.
