Jump with Jill is making the rounds to Sun Prairie schools this week. Jump with Jill is a live rock and roll concert about nutrition. The interactive program uses music to help kids learn and retain important information about eating healthy.
"Eating fruits, eating breakfast everyday because it gets us going they're going to be learning about calcium how milk is really great for our body and other dairy products. They're going to learn about how we also have to exercise a little thing called the beat of the body," according to Lauren Lucksavage.
Sun Prairie school district officials say the Jump with Jill program supports the district's wellness policy, linking healthy nutrition and exercise to students' overall physical well being.
