DENVER (AP) --- Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle says Arizona Sen. John McCain offers only failed Republican policies.

Doyle told delegates at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night they need to revive the spirit of John F. Kennedy and move past eight years that favored the right and ignored everyone else. He says Americans' dreams have grown further and further out of reach.

Doyle says it took him only five minutes to decide to endorse Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, who is expected to accept the Democratic nomination later this week.

McCain is the likely Republican presidential nominee.
