From the Dane County Sheriff's Office:

At 1:55 am, Dane County Sheriff's Office Deputies were dispatched to the Kountry Keg Tavern, 6259 Portage Road, in the Town of Burke, for an armed robbery. Sun Prairie Police Officers in the immediate area also responded to this call.

Witnesses and employees at the bar reported two white males, wearing masks covering their faces, entered the bar with handguns and ordered the patrons and bartender to lie on the floor. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the two robbers fled from the bar on foot. None of the patrons or bartender were injured during the robbery. A Madison Police Officer and his partner, responded to the tavern to assist with a track of the suspects, however the track ended a short distance from the tavern without locating the suspects.

The descriptions of the two suspects are as follows:

Suspect #1 - M/W, 5"08" to 5'10" tall, thin build 150-160 pounds, wearing a dark colored hoodie and dark colored jeans. This suspect had a cloth covering his face and displayed a silver colored handgun.

Suspect #2 - M/W, 5'10" to 6'00" tall, heavy build 230-250 pounds, wearing a dark colored hoodie and light colored tan shorts. This suspect also had a cloth covering his face and displayed a black semi-automatic handgun.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call the Tipster Hotline at 608-284-6900.

Anonymous. Please re-read PT's post. PT is being sarcastic. Try not to take everything so literally.

to PT when someone shoots and kills a member of your family try to tell urself it wasnt the person it was the gun. we create guns and use them. you people who are against guns have become so afraid of violence youd rather lay down and die than fight for your life if you were ever put in that kind of situation. i guess we should ban cars and knives to because they kill people. especially cars, we should ban automobiles to make everyone safer. when a pedestrian is run over by someone in a car do u blame the driver or the car. THE DRIVER...DUH!

Paul, don't you know, only crminals are supposed to have guns. If them let any of us have them, the poor criminals might not make it to the courtroom to tie up the legal system for months. After all, we all know guns kill people, not the person pulling the trigger! No we better not ever pass a concealed carry law in Wisconsin, or the crime rate might go down and we might not need so many police.
