Obama campaigns for Democrats in Milwaukee

Video will be available shortly.

A rising star in the Democratic Party is campaigning in Milwaukee on Tuesday.

A crowd of several hundred gathered in a downtown park to see and hear Senator Barack Obama.

He urged those gathered at Pere Marquette park to get out and knock on doors and make phone calls to get Democrats elected.

Governor Doyle, Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton, US Senator Herb Kohl, Congresswoman Gwen Moore and attorney general candidate Kathleen Falk appeared with Obama at the get-out-the-vote rally.

Obama says Democrats believe Americans have a stake in each other.

The crowd embraced Obama. His growing national stature in the party has been stoked recently by his admission that he's considering a presidential run in 2008.
