The homicide happened last night along Brittany Place near Elver Park on Madison's West Side.
A man's body was found at the scene. Police say the man was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Investigators have not released his name or how he died.
Police also want to find a vehicle described as a small king-quad cab, older model pick-up with a ladder rack on top. The truck is either blue or gray.
