Fire broke out at a duplex at 118 North street in Stoughton shortly before 4:00 Sunday afternoon.
Stoughton fire officials say the fire started in the upstairs apartment; one resident was in that apartment at the time.
Firefighters got him out of the burning building and he was taken to a local hospital.
His condition is not known at this time.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
