Police say the Arkansas couple allegedly killed by a man arrested in Wisconsin had been shot in the head and their bodies dragged by an all-terrain vehicle.
Investigators initially believed Ben and Mary Odell died of blunt force trauma because their bodies were so badly injured. But, they determined those injuries were caused when their bodies were tied to the ATV and dragged about 400 feet behind their home in Nashville, Arkansas.
Prosecuting attorney Tom Cooper says it looked like the couple had been beaten.
26-year-old Calvin Bennett was arrested in Rothschild on Sunday. Someone using an dating Web site saw his picture posted and realized he had recently been featured on "America's Most Wanted" TV show.
The bodies the 79-year-old man and his 78-year-old wife were found October 30th.
A warrant had been issued against Bennett for 2 counts of capital murder.
