The huge explosion and fire that destroyed an industrial warehouse near downtown Milwaukee injured dozens and is a personal tragedy for families of 3 workers who died.
Police identified the victims as 38-year-old Curtis Lane of Oconomowoc, 49-year-old Thomas Letendre of Milwaukee and 35-year-old Daniel Kuster of Mayville.
Kuster's father, Melvin, says his son was a third-generation Falk worker and had been there more than 10 years.
Lane's father-in-law, William Borgiasz of Oconomowoc, says Lane was the father of two children, ages 2 and 4, and his wife Tina operates a day care.
He says the explosion is hard to deal with ... and the only thing the family can tell the children is that their father isn't coming home.
The Letendre family declined comment.
