Green Onions Removed from Taco Bell
Taco Bell Corporation has removed green onions from all of its restaurants.
Company officials say a lab found a harsh strain of the E coli bacteria that's sickened 39 people, in three samples of green onions.
The tests are not conclusive and the onions have not yet been characterized as the cause of the outbreak.
The E. coli infections were discovered Monday in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
