Police are investigating their third sexual assault case in less than two weeks.
No suspect is in custody for any of the assaults.
The latest involves a female UW student assaulted in the 500 block of North Carroll street early Saturday morning.
Police say the student was abducted, taken to another location and later released.
Campus police say a similar rape happened on November 29th, when a female student was forced into a car on Observatory Drive and sexually asaulted at another location.
And a woman was injured earlier this week when a man entered her home on Jana Lane and sexually assaulted her.
Authorities are not saying if the three cases are related, but they do say it's unusual to have so many rapes in a short time.
