Madison Man in Court Facing 10th DUI Charge

Video will be available shortly.

A Madison man convicted 9 times for drunk driving, is in court this afternoon facing a 10th charge.

50-year old Kelvin Eskridge was pulled over on West Washington Avenue Saturday morning.

The District Attorney's office says the drinking and driving was bad enough, but what was found inside the car Eskridge was driving was even worse.

Assistant District Attorney Mike Verveer says, "I would also point out the very disturbing fact situation about the juvenile that was in the car at the time, a 3 month old baby was being held, unrestrained, by his mother in the motor vehicle. While the defendant was operating that motor vehicle. Obviously, and absolutely an outrageous act, we're absolutely concerned about the safety of the community given the defendants continued drinking and driving."

Eskridge remains in jail on a probation hold. If that hold is lifted he'll have to post a $2,500 cash bond to get out from behind bars.
