Speed and lack of seatbelt use may be the cause of a fatal crash near the village of Brooklyn.
Green County deputies say one person was killed in a crash on King Road, just south of the village.
According to police, the driver of the car lost control and hit a phone pedestal and two trees.
The driver of the vehicle was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
