A Wisconsin man is hospitalized at Hennepin County Medical Center after crashing through a window at the Minneapolis Hyatt Regency and falling 16 stories.
Police and fire officials said 29-year-old Joshua Hanson of Blair had multiple broken bones and internal injuries. KARE-TV reports that doctors put Hanson in an induced coma.
Hospital officials aren't commenting on his injuries.
Hanson was in Minneapolis for a weekend dart tournament.
Police say Hanson and two friends were drinking before they returned to the hotel in a taxi and they might have been horsing around as an elevator brought them to the 17th floor.
For some reason, Hanson ran toward a floor-to-ceiling window. Police say he apparently lost his balance and crashed through.
