A man thought he saw someone fall through the ice on Lake Mendota today, but a search turned up nothing.
Just before 4:30 this afternoon a construction worker thought he saw someone pulling a sled fall break through the ice near Governor's Island.
Emergency crews scoured the area, but couldn't find any signs someone had actually fallen through.
Authorities warn tonight that searchers tore up the ice in the area, and it is very dangerous as a result. They ask you to stay off the ice.
