Voters in Madison decide Tuesday who will advance in the mayoral race.
Current Mayor Dave Cieslewicz is seeking his second term.
He faces challenges from former Madison school board member Ray Allen, former mayoral aide Peter Munoz, and retired biochemist Will Sandstrom.
The top two vote-getters move on to the general election.
Scott Milfred, Editorial Page Editor for the Wisconsin State Journal said it's safe to call Mayor Dave a shoe-in.
"It also seems like Ray Allen and Peter Munoz are pushing the same message so the thought is whichever one of them comes out of the primary, probably the supporters, at least most of them of the other candidate will follow that challenger."
The general election is April 3rd.
