Garlic has been said it works wonders to lower cholesterol and help your heart, but new research shows the only benefit it could give you is a foul reality.
Researchers studied over 160 adults.
Some took garlic supplements, raw garlic or a placebo.
They found no difference in Bad Cholesterol levels in the garlic group and those taking the raw garlic said they had bad breath and body odor.
Researchers also found levels of good cholesterol remained unchanged.
