GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (AP) -- An envelope plant is closing in the Fox Valley, leaving 150 people without jobs.
It appeared the former National Envelope factory in Grand Chute was out of the woods last September when Cenveo Corp. bought the business, which was in bankruptcy. But Cenveo says it has been unable to reach a lease agreement with Spirit Leasing which owns the building.
WLUK-TV says Cenveo released a statement which said the company had reached a difficult decision to close and that the landlord is to blame.
Local leaders say it's an important reminder that the economy has not fully recovered.
