BEN AFFLECK -- ARGO

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Ben Affleck has heard the buzz -- but isn't trying to hear any talk about his movie "Argo" getting possible consideration for the Oscars. He says his main concern is to get the word out about the movie. It focuses on a real-life C.I.A. plot to pose as Hollywood filmmakers to free a group of American hostages being held during the Iranian revolution. Affleck says until the movie hits theaters, "there isn't anybody out there who has paid a dime to buy a ticket to see this movie" -- so it's premature to talk about awards. He says with all the work he and the cast put into the film, he wants people to be able to see it, and let any Oscar talk come after that. "Argo" opens today.

"X FACTOR"

UNDATED (AP) -- "Possessed." That's how will.i.am describes one 13-year-old singer on "The X Factor." Will.i.am is the guest mentor for the teens. He and Britney Spears were blown away by Carly Rose Sonenclar. He says she's so good she's possessed. Carly Rose is still in it -- but so is everyone else. None of the top 24 were eliminated in last night's episode.

MATT DAMON-GRAY DUDE

UNDATED (AP) -- Matt Damon has a message for his daughters -- you did this! He's joking about his gray hair. The father of four tells People that his hair has been dyed for some roles. But he says he likes his gray hair and is even proud of it.

STARS ON UNPAID TAX LIST

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- Dionne Warwick and Steven Seagal make the list -- but they probably don't want to be there. California officials say Warwick and Seagal are on the top 500 list of those owing the most in unpaid taxes. The Franchise Tax Board says Warwick owes $2.6 million and has been delinquent since 2003. But her spokesman says she's worked out a repayment plan with the state and is paying down her debt. Seagal owes the state nearly $350,000 and has been on the list since April.

BARBRA STREISAND PROUD BROOKLYNITE

NEW YORK (AP) -- Oscar, Tony, Emmy and Grammy winner Barbra Streisand was back in Brooklyn last night. Streisand did a three-hour concert at the new Barclays Center. She told the crowd the last time she performed solo in Brooklyn was "on somebody's stoop on Pulaski Street" when she was just 8-years-old.

MAN CONVICTED OF TRESPASSING AT MILEY CYRUS' HOME

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A man is to be sentenced today for trying to break into Miley Cyrus' home. Yesterday, a Los Angeles jury convicted Jason Luis Rivera on charges of misdemeanor trespassing and resisting arrest. He's been jailed since his September 8th bust. Police say Rivera told them he was a friend of Cyrus'. Authorities add Rivera was carrying pair of scissors. They say he repeatedly threw himself against an outside wall as if he was trying to break in. Cyrus wasn't home at the time.
