MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Gov. Scott Walker is predicting big things for the Badgers in the NCAA tournament.
Walker says he'd be let down if Wisconsin doesn't at least reach the Elite Eight. He says it's not unrealistic to think the second-seeded Badgers could make the Final Four.
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee faces Villanova, which lost to Seton Hall on a buzzer-beater in the Big East tournament. Walker says he'd love to see the Panthers pull off a similar upset. He says a UWM tournament win would be "huge."
He says he's disappointed the state of Wisconsin doesn't have three teams in the tournament. He says Buzz will have to take care of that next year. That's a reference to Marquette coach Buzz Williams, whose Golden Eagles didn't make the cut.
