UPDATED: Police Investigate Shots Fired In Madison And Monona

UPDATED: Tuesday, August 21, 2012 -- 5:15 a.m.

From Monona Police Department:

The Monona Police Department is asking for assistance in the investigation into a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 12:30 am on Tuesday, August 21, 2012. This occurred at 211 Shato Lane in the City of Monona.

This home was shot at multiple times.

An unoccupied vehicle, which was parked in the driveway, also had a window shot out.

This single family home was occupied at the time of the incident however nobody was injured. Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a silver Toyota 4-door.

The Monona Police Department is looking into possible suspect(s) however if you have any information please contact the Monona Police Department at (608) 222-0463.

Investigators believe this incident is likely related to a case in Madison. Madison Police received multiple calls in reference to shots fired in the 1600 Block of Brynwood Dr. earlier in the night.

Madison Police received multiple calls reference shots fired in the 1600 Block of Brynwood Dr.

The area was checked and were unable locate evidence of shots fired.

There are no injuries or damage to property reported at this time.

Madison and Monona Police are investigating reports of shots fired at cars.

Witnesses reported seeing someone shooting out of a car on the 1600 block of Brynwood Drive around 12:30 Tuesday morning.

The only description was for a Toyota.

Police say they have yet to find any damage.

Shortly after that incident, Monona police received similar calls.

There are no suspects in custody.
