MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A southeastern Wisconsin historical site is planning to host a 19th-century Christmas celebration next month.
The celebration at Wade House is scheduled for Dec. 7 and Dec. 8. Visitors will get a look at Yankee and German traditions, including rooms bedecked with fresh evergreen garlands. They'll also get a chance to participate in period crafts and games, hear stories and take horse-drawn wagon rides. Choral groups also will be on hand to sign traditional and modern carols.
Wade House is an 1860s stagecoach inn located in Greenbush in Sheboygan County.
