"THE X FACTOR"
UNDATED (AP) -- Sophie Tweed-Simmons has some famous parents -- but does have talent? Sophie tired out for "The X Factor" on last night's show. She's the 19-year-old daughter of Gene Simmons from Kiss and actress Shannon Tweed. Some of the other wannabes resented a star's kid trying out. But Sophie told the judges her parents didn't know until just before the audition. She makes it with three yeses. Arin Ray also makes it. He auditioned last year and was put in one of the instant groups before getting cut. The auditions continue tonight.

We'll find out how they got rescued in the second episode.
