JASON ALDEAN-NEW ABC SHOW "NASHVILLE"

UNDATED (AP) -- Jason Aldean is a little wary of the upcoming TV show "Nashville." He hasn't seen any clips yet, but he says if the show makes country artists look like a bunch of hillbillies that don't know what they're doing, then it's not going to be very good. But he says, if the show can represent Nashville's great music, writers, and artists, then he thinks it could be amazing. "Nashville" premieres October 10th on ABC.

HAPPY 30TH LEANN RIMES

UNDATED (AP) -- Happy birthday, LeAnn Rimes. She turns the big 3-0 today, and she says she's ready to leave the last decade behind. Rimes tells People.com that she's had so many amazing things happen in her 20s, but she also had a lot of hard lessons to learn. She says she's "ready to be stronger than ever" and start a new chapter. As for presents, she got a rose gold and diamond Cartier "Love" bracelet from husband Eddie Cibrian. She says she "cried so hard" when he gave it to her.

TAYLOR SWIFT GETS CCMA GENERATION AWARD

UNDATED (AP) -- Taylor Swift is getting recognized for going global. The Canadian Country Music Association is giving her the first-ever Generation award for spreading country music worldwide. She'll get it during the CCMA Awards broadcast on September 9th. Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Eric Church are among the performers.

STARS CELEBRATE SINGLES

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Hunter Hayes has to pinch himself. He says he's been dreaming his entire life about what it would feel like to have a single sell over a million copies. It's come true with his top five, platinum hit "Wanted." Jana Kramer is also celebrating single success. Her top 10 hit "Why Ya Wanna" just went gold for selling over half a million copies.

ERIC CHURCH GETS A NOTE FROM THE REAL SPRINGSTEEN

UNDATED (AP) -- The Boss likes "Springsteen." Eric Church got a personal note from Bruce Springsteen saying he was a big fan of the song. Springsteen wrote the note on the back of a set list. He signed it and said he hopes they "cross paths somewhere." Springsteen's road manager delivered the note to Church on his tour bus. Church says the note means the world to him.

MILEY CYRUS TO GUEST STAR ON 'TWO AND A HALF MEN'

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Miley Cyrus will be on TV this fall. She's guest starring on two episodes of "Two and a Half Men." Cyrus plays an old family friend of Walden's who visits for a week and develops a relationship with Jake. The season premieres Thursday, September 27th.
