TAYLOR SWIFT STAYING BUSY

NEW YORK (AP) -- Taylor Swift has a busy week planned. After spending last week in New York on a photo shoot, She debuts her new song live at the "MTV Video Music Awards" this Thursday night. The song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," is from the upcoming album "Red," coming out October 22nd. Taylor tweeted she's been working hard all week to perfect her big performance Thursday night.

MIRANDA LAMBERT WEARING ANOTHER HAT

UNDATED (AP) -- She's a singer, a songwriter and now executive producer of a network show. Miranda Lambert's representatives confirm NBC has bought a show that's inspired by her childhood in Texas. Deadline.com reports the show is about a couple who run a private detective agency while raising two teenagers. Miranda's father is a retired policeman who's now a private investigator. The Tennessean says Miranda's mom Beverly will be a consultant for the show. The new sitcom is on the same network as "The Voice," which co-stars Miranda's husband Blake Shelton.

BLAKE SHELTON ON A ROLL

UNDATED (AP) -- Blake Shelton's latest single "Over" is his 12th song to reach number one on the Billboard Country chart. It's the fourth number one single off the album "Red River Blue." Next up for Blake, besides being a judge on "The Voice," is a holiday album which is scheduled to come out October 2nd.

DARIUS RUCKER IS A "TRUE BELIEVER"

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- You're going to have to wait a little longer for Darius Rucker's third country solo album. It's scheduled to be released early next year. The first single off the album is "True Believers" is already getting airplay on country radio. In a statement, Rucker says the new single is a "great example" of what's to come from the new album.

JAMES OTTO CAN WAIT

UNDATED (AP) -- James Otto tells TheBoot.com that he's not in a rush to release his new album, which is expected to come out later this year. Otto is still getting plenty of airplay as he co-wrote the song "No Hurry" from the Zac Brown Band's album "You Get What You Give." It peaked at number two on the country chart.

LUKE BRYAN GETTING READY TO TOUR

NEW YORK (AP) -- Luke Bryan is going on his fourth "Farm Tour" beginning next month. Eight concerts are planned over several southern states including five in his home state of Georgia. It begins October 3rd in Statesboro, Georgia and wraps up in Macon, Georgia October 13th.
