"DANCING WITH THE STARS"
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Pamela Anderson isn't too surprised to get bounced on "Dancing With the Stars." The judges ripped her for not putting in enough effort in rehearsing her cha-cha. And it showed. Anderson was at the bottom of the judges' scorecard following the first week's performances. But she says she'll keep dancing. Drew Lachey found himself in an unusual place on the All-Stars edition. He was in the bottom two last night. He was never in danger of elimination during the season he won it all.
LOS ANGELES(AP) -- Cassadee Pope is a chair-turner. She got turn-arounds from all four judges on "The Voice" last night. But she goes with Blake Shelton after he told her she would be a super-star. She was one of two pick-ups for Team Blake. Team Cee Lo and Team Christina pick up a singer each. Adam Levine got a goose-egg.
"THE VOICE" BEATS "X FACTOR" IN THE RATINGS
NEW YORK (AP) -- It's a good thing Simon Cowell didn't make any bold predictions about how "The X Factor" would do in the ratings. "The Voice" clobbered it. The two episodes of "The Voice" last week were watched by more than 13 million people, while about 10 mil watched "The X Factor." The Voice ranks third and fourth in the ratings, while The X Factor is in 10th and 11th place. NBC's new show "Revolution" premiered in seventh place and "Go On" ranks 13th. "Survivor: Philippines" premiered in eighth place. The Emmys were in fifth. The number-one show of the week was the Patriots-Ravens game.
MILEY CYRUS HAS BED SCENE WITH ASHTON KUTCHER IN "TWO AND A HALF MEN"
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Miley Cyrus has a bed scene with Ashton Kutcher in an upcoming episode of "Two and a Half Men." But he's not the guy she's after in her guest shot. Cyrus is interested in Jake. Photos released from the episode show Cyrus bares a lot of skin in the outfits she wears.
LOTTERY FOR OSCARS BLEACHER SEATS HAS STARTED
BEVERLY HILLS (AP) -- It's time to enter the lottery for the bleacher seats along the red carpet at the Oscars. There are 700 seats available and as many as 20,000 have entered the drawing in the past. Winners will get to watch the Oscars at a nearby theater after cheering for their favorite stars. You can enter online at oscars.org/insider. The random drawing will be held in November.
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- If you missed "Homeland" and want to see why it won best drama at the Emmys, you can catch up with a marathon airing on Showtime. The entire first season will be shown this Saturday from noon to half past midnight. Season two premieres on Sunday.
"ANIMAL PRACTICE" - JUSTIN KIRK
BEVERLY HILLS (AP) -- Justin Kirk happens to have a friend who's a cat veterinarian, so he knew just who to go to for advice on starring in "Animal Practice." Kirk says he asked his friend if he should take the role and he was told to go for it. Now, he's learning what it's like to work with animals. He says it's like working with kids. You get one take before they lose interest. "Animal Practice" premieres tonight on NBC.
"MADE IN JERSEY" - JANET MONTGOMERY
BEVERLY HILLS (AP) -- She may be British, but Janet Montgomery can relate to the Jersey girl she plays in "Made in Jersey." Her character is an attorney, but her family is working class, so she's comfortable with both white collar and blue collar people. Montgomery says she has six brothers and sisters and a father who works in the post office, so she, too, lives in two worlds. She says she's comfortable hanging in her old neighborhood or in Los Angeles, where she lives now. Made in Jersey premieres Friday on CBS.
