MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee County prosecutors are weighing possible charges against a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student after an apparent drug overdose death. Police say they think a 19-year-old gave drugs to a 56-year-old Watertown man, who was found dead at a desk on Monday night.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A federal judge says Catholic parishes in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee won't be included in its bankruptcy proceedings. Attorneys for creditors tried to argue that more than 200 parishes should be included in the bankruptcy, claiming the archdiocese fraudulently transferred assets to protect it from sex abuse claims.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Governor Scott Walker will be in central Wisconsin today to attend a ceremony honoring Pearl Harbor veterans. About a half dozen Pearl Harbor veterans live at the state veterans facility in King. Today's the 71st anniversary of the attack.
