TOWN OF LISBON, Wis. (AP) -- Two young men died this morning during a single-vehicle crash in Waukesha County. Investigators say the crash happened around 2 a.m. in Lisbon. Both men were in their early 20s.

APPLETON, Wis. (AP) -- Lawrence University has a new president. The Appleton college named Mark Burstein to the post. He's an executive vice president at Princeton University and succeeds Jill Beck, who's retiring in June.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Edgewood College in Madison is getting ready for its winter graduation this weekend. About 200 students will get their degrees from the Catholic college on Sunday.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- More than 30 Marquette University students can now say they're authorities on J.R.R. Tolkien. The school offered the course on the fantasy writer for the first time this fall as part of the 75th anniversary of the publication of "The Hobbit." Marquette has several of Tolkien's drafts and manuscripts.
