WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) -- The closure of a Waukesha dairy processing plant has schools and grocers scrambling to find alternative milk suppliers. The Golden Guernsey plant closed this weekend with little warning. The president of the Mapleton Dairy Haulers in Oconomowoc says there may be a lot of schools without milk today.

TOWN OF LIBERTY, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating the cause of a dairy barn fire that killed 120 cattle in eastern Wisconsin. Valders Fire Chief Dan Esser says about a dozen cows died in the fire, while the rest had to be euthanized because of smoke inhalation.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin First Lady Tonette Walker and the head of the state Department of Veterans Affairs will host a dance to benefit the state veterans museum. "Faces of Freedom" will be held in March. It includes a program saluting veterans, a performance by a comedian, live music and dancing.
