MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A former aide to Governor Scott Walker is set to be sentenced this afternoon after she pleaded guilty to doing campaign work on county time. Darlene Wink faces up to a year in prison and a $2,000 fine.

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) -- Kenosha police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a drainage ditch on the city's north side. Authorities haven't yet said how he died.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Governor Scott Walker plans to deliver a speech today to the Wisconsin Bankers Association. Today's talk is expected to focus on the economy. It comes five days before Walker makes his annual State of the State address to the Legislature.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- State officials say property owners should prune their trees before the weather warms up. Winter's the best time for pruning because trees are dormant and insects that could attack an open wound aren't active. Meanwhile, leafless branches are easier to see and cut.
