How would you like a waiter from your favorite restaurant to show up at your door...meal ready to go?

In this week's hot trends *that's possible with a company called "straight to your door Madison".

The idea came from Casey...a UW grad student. In school, he had no car and no skills in the kitchen and so the idea was born out of necessity.

"Straight2YourDoor Madison" currently has more than 25 restaurants in its *original Downtown zone with *another 12 restaurants and counting in the newly opened West Madison / Middleton location run by his business partner, Emin.

They, and their drivers, will deliver food from places you would not normally hear about or even think of for food delivery.

Casey says, "We've got some chains but the vast majority of restaurants are the smaller mom and pop places that can't afford to have drivers but certainly appreciate the extra advertisement, marketing, and on-line ordering so the feedback has been good. "

Companies around town also seem to enjoy the concept for their corporate lunches...but "straight 2 your door Madison" also delivers to homes and hotels as well. You can order throughout the day ... 7 days a week.. either online or through their call center. The menus are up on their website.

Their food is guaranteed to arrive in under one hour with the average delivery time around 45 minutes. There is a flat rate $3.49 delivery fee. To learn more about straight to your door Madison click on news links.
