Perhaps this year you're looking for a new car.

NBC-15's Christine Bellport shows 2008 luxury cars and tells the hot trend this year is a balancing act between "new and improved" and "tried and true."

What do BMW, Cadillac, Audi and Lexus have in common? They have been selected by Forbes as having the most anticipated 2008 luxury cars and they can be found right here in Madison.

We took a drive to BMW off the beltline to find out why the 2008 BMW M3 is so highly praised.

It has a waiting list that started 4 years ago.

The 4 door sedan has been gone for 11 years. It will be just like this model m3 but with 4 doors. It starts in the mid 50's.

Forbes says many highly anticipated cars, like the M3, are new versions of existing models because people want something they trust.

Lexus came out with the first luxury brand hybrid that is highly praised. It is in already successful RX model among others.

Audi has it retooled its r-8 and the 2008 Cadillac CTS is more powerful than the smaller V6 it replaces.
