When you think of "white out" -- you may think of winter. But it is the hottest make-up trend this summer season.
To learn how to do it, we went to Style Salon and Spa in Cross Plains.
It's about a more natural look, from your face to your nails. For example long nails are out.
"We're seeing more shorter length of nails as opposed to longer. It looks a little bit fresher it works well for bright colors," says Rebecca Friedel of Styles Salon & Spa.
If you want to use color, try pinks, reds and apricots.
As we mentioned, the big look this year is natural.
Rebecca is using a technique on Holly's eyes called "White Out."
"I am using a white eyeliner. I am using it on the lash line and I am also using it in this inner corner on the lid to really open up on the inside...nice highlighting technique and looks very fresh. "
"It's really about choosing the lips or the eyes so in this case we're going to focus more on the lips and choose a brighter color so we're going to downplay the eyes but still keeping them beautiful with highlighting them."
Pink is the big color for lips this season... but keep it looking natural. Not so contrived.
To finish off the white out look on Holly, she used a shimmer accent for example, Aveda's Moonstone powder, on her temples to her cheekbones.
To reverse the look use a bronzer instead of a moonstone shimmer color.
