Madison has been selected as the only city in America to test a new multi-media ad campaign for the company Consumer Reports.
The holiday marketing campaign consists of TV, radio and on-line ads that started last week here in Madison.
The TV ad features a family and the woman is trying to use a new digital camera but is not getting the perfect picture.
It talks about testing 75 Digital Cameras to find which one is the best for your needs.
The point of the ad is to know before you buy--Consumer Reports says that way shoppers avoid making a purchase they'll later regret.
Madison is the test market for a new ad campaign meaning others are finding that we are the Trend setters. They say they chose Madison because our city is highly educated... among other things.
