Many people can't wait to see their baby. But with health insurance the way it is, there are only so many sonograms they can get and it is sometimes hard to see.
In this week's Hot Trends, we'll show you cutting edge technology at Stork Vision Madison.
It is state of the art technology in a home-like setting. And these sonograms go way beyond the traditional 2-D experience.
"3-D and 4-D is actually pictures you can almost see the skin line where the 2 d at most doctor's officers or at any hospital is different," says Sandrea Voeller of Stork Vision in Madison.
The room that can seat up to 20 guests, has a big screen monitor and speakers to experience the sights and sounds of a baby yet to be born.
The mother can be between 18 and 34 weeks pregnant. During the one hour session, Sandrea explains to the mother at all times what she is seeing.
We could clearly see the baby moving, that's the 4-d part of the stork vision experience.
But the best part is the bonding for both parents involved.
"I see them leave they are actually connected to the baby more than when than came so that's the big experience for 3d 4d."
The cost is 130 dollars for the 3D/4-D sonogram, a DVD and 50 pictures. Also, if you just want to know the sex of your baby ...that is 50 dollars.
