There are so many places to buy your clothes.
In this week's Hot Trends, we'll take you to a clothing store on the Capital Square that showcases fashions made and designed by Wisconsinites.
Atticus on the capitol square sets itself apart from other stores in the area.
"We're the only locally owned store downtown that has both men's and women's clothing so that's kinda nice we have something for everyone. "
This store is filled with unique dresses and other items for women and men. And these tags show they're making a strong push to sell clothes made by Wisconsinites.
"I think there's a lot of talent in WI especially in Madison but we also have some jewelry designers from other cities in WI. We have a couple of dress designers from Madison that we have been carrying."
Because many designers at Atticus *are from the area...they're designing clothes based on what Madison buyers would use, for example, this blue one piece outfit has a specific purpose beyond fashion.
"its a romper so its a one piece outfit with shorts and they're connected to the top but its nice because its cut but nice because you can bike in it because its shorts to promote biking around Madison. "
If you can't get to the capital square, Atticus just launched its new e-commerce site. You can now shop over the Internet.
