In our Hot Trends reports, we often show you interesting, or cutting edge businesses and products.
Today we are taking you to a hip, new bar opening on Willie Street tonight, that makes you feel as thought you walked right into the big city.
To look at this club...you would think you were in Chicago, New York or Los Angeles.
"We wanted to do something different that Madison hasn't seen before so we took ideas from places that we have been like Chicago. Corey, my business partner, came from LA so we wanted to incorporate some of that design and bring something like that to Madison. "
But what is very Madison is what's at the heart of this club.
The bar top, that can change into any color is made from recycled acrylic material.
Inside are suspended pieces of crushed glass ... made from recycled bottles, very fitting for a bar.
All of the lighting is either LED, fluorescent, or low voltage.
Plan B..in the heart of the willie street neighborhood, will appeal to everyone, of all backgrounds, Plan B the name, means the alternative plan or a different way of looking at things.
"It's always a reliable plan so if you want to go out and you have to move to your Plan B it is a solid plan to go to to have a good time. "
The owners, both from Madison...made sure to use local talent in the design of this hip club and right down to the plumbing.
Speaking of - the bathroom counter tops are called Paperstone.
It's an extremely green product made from recycled beer boxes that come form Wisconsin and put together with Cashew nut oil.
The club opens tonight at 7 o'clock.
