Halloween is fast approaching and one local company not only gives you a great haunted house experience...they do it by land and water.
In this week's Hot Trends, we give you a preview of perhaps one of the most unique Halloween experience Wisconsin style!
During Halloween time even the scenic upper Dells can scare even the bravest of souls.
"The atmosphere and scene on the upper dells is already believed to be haunted it is something that is set up for us. We didn't have to do as much works as was needed to make sure we set up this kind of feeling. "
The Dells Boat Tours haunted boat ride travels 7 miles up river to Witch's Gulch.
During the 30 minute trip, you will hear ghost stories believed to be true from the Dells haunted history.
Once the boat docks at Witch's Gulch, you are then taken through a haunted walking tour.
" Witches Gulch is a scenic canyon by day. You are looking at its beauty. But at night, even with us working in it, it gets a little scary. You hear sounds you don't know where they are coming from. Things fall near you and you hear animals sounds! It gets more creepy."
The 30 minute walk through Witches Gulch is even more creepy because the canyon blocks most of the moonlight setting the scene for an unforgettable fright night and haunted history at the dells.
The cost is $15 for a one and a half hour trip. It runs at 8 on Friday nights and 6 and 8 on Saturday nights up to Halloween.
This is not recommended for young kids!
