On Hot Trends I like to push local stores...or new technology.

But the on Mall in Madison is making changes of its own which earns a place in this week's Hot Trends.

The West Towne Mall is changing its image, from this gorgeous garden center in the atrium to enjoy your coffee and snacks, to more chic stores.

"The Madison market is definitely demanding a more higher end store.
You are seeing Sephora, Apple, Coach and H and M...all the these stores have interest in the Madison market. "

Bachmanns is also at the mall, they sell Swimming Pools, Hot Tubs and Swimming Pool and Spa chemicals and accessories.

"You can drive right up and they'll put them in your car for you."

With restaurants such as the new Longhorn and the highly successful Granite City, the mall is learning to keep money there, they need all the amenities that places like Milwaukee and Chicago have to offer.

"You can do everything here at the mall. You can shop for new clothes you can have dinner and you can do your grocery shopping right behind the mall in the cub while you are here. "

For tea lovers...they are also adding a new shop that will exclusively sell tea and what's need to make tea called "Teavana". That opens next month.
