And we agree after test driving the new Chevy Volt. It doesn't feel like an electric car, more like a sports car.

It is so new, its not even available until the end of the year.

The Chevy Volt uses gas to create its own electricity. You plug it in and charge it overnight. You can drive 40 miles at least, gas and emissions free.

After that, the Volt keeps going even if you can't plug it in. the two LCD screens are very easy to read to see what's happening.

The Volt uses a "range-extending" gas generator that produces enough energy to power it for hundreds of miles on a single tank of gas.

The car is so quiet as well. Great sound system inside to make your own noise.

It costs from $33,000 to $43,00033 to 43 thousand dollars.

The car sure has power too. It was neat to see the monitor on the dash board showing you how the car is being powered.
