A new website called Home Grown Cow is a way for Wisconsin farmers to sell their meat and poultry to you the consumer and cut out the middle man.

It is a virtual farmer's market. Any kind of meat can be sold over this website so that family-owned farms can be a part of e-commerce.

It also gives Wisconsin farmers a chance reach beyond state limits for sales.

It works much like Facebook works.

It is free.

Farmers are only charged when a sale is made. If you are interested in buying meat or poultry, you can sign up too.

The great thing about this, you can choose exactly where the meat on your table comes from and how it was raised.

The site will launch in April and home grown cow encourages farmers to sign up now and get their profiles ready.
