POSTED: Tuesday June 28, 2011 --- 2:15 a.m.

We found some vacation ideas still available this Summer and Fall out of Lucky Magazine.

They are trendy because so many people these days either choose to spend their vacation doing good deeds or want something unique.

First , we go to Africa, where you can help elephants displaced by hunters and poachers. It is an intense 2 week program. Volunteers build protection walls and gather information for an elephant ID database in Namibia. The cost is $970 for a two week stay.

Help rebuild Haiti on a one or two week trip. Volunteers work on building a school which was damaged in the 2010 earthquake. The cost is $800 for a two week stay.

Or climb a volcano, you rock climb, rappel and swing across craters and canyons in Costa Rica. The most traditional vacation moment comes at a "Volcanic Mud Springs and Spa" where you indulge in a natural sauna of volcano mud and thermal sulfur waters. The cost is $79 a night.
