Release from Sun Prairie Police:
The suspect in the Sun Prairie robbery of Main Street Liquor on September 21st is in custody. The Fitchburg Police Department arrested Curtis Lashawn Curry the suspect in this burglary in their city on Saturday September 25, 2010. Curry was transported to the Dane County Public Safety Building and was tentatively charged with Robbery, Disorderly Conduct, and Criminal Damage to Property.

Press Release from Sun Prairie Police:
The Sun Prairie Police Department is investigating a report of a robbery at Main Street Liquor, in the 900 block of West Main St. that occurred on September 21st. It was reported that a person, described as a male, black, age mid 20’s-30’s, height 5’ 9’’-6’1”, medium build, shaved head, medium skin tone, wearing a short sleeve white T-shirt with red print on the front, dark colored jeans, white tennis shoes and sun glasses, entered the store and took money from the register. At 6:57pm the suspect entered the store and made a small purchase, when the clerk opened the register he reached across the counter and grabbed cash from the register. He then fled the store on foot and was last seen running on Lothe Street toward Bird Street in the city.
The Sun Prairie Police Department is attempting to locate Curtis Lashawn Curry M/B, DOB 08/01/1970 in connection with this robbery. Curry typically wears sunglasses as he is missing his right eye. There currently is an active arrest warrant out for Curry for his involvement in a different robbery.
