Press Release from the Rock Co. Sheriff's Department:

On Tuesday, January 14, the Rock County S.W.A.T. Team, along with the Beloit Tactical Unit, executed a search warrant at 1119 ½ 9th Street in the City of Beloit. The search warrant was a result of a Rock County Special Investigations Unit (SIU) investigation that began in July of 2012.

SIU deputies, including an officer from Milton P.D., GROC, and the Milwaukee HIDTA Interdiction Team, all assisted in the investigation and the search warrant.

Seized during the search was a half kilogram of suspected methamphetamines with a street value of approximately $20,000.00. Also seized was a .45 caliber handgun, cash and drug paraphernalia. Upon entering the residence, both occupants were taken into custody by the Rock County S.W.A.T. Team.

Both suspects are currently facing similar charges in Hawaii for Possession of Methylone. They are scheduled for Jail Intake Court in Rock County on January 17, 2013 at 4:00 p.m.
