Madison Police have released a sketch in an August armed robbery on E. Washington Ave.
On Aug. 27th, an employee at Loanmax had locked up the store and was getting ready to get into her vehicle to leave.
The suspect suddenly appeared next to her. He pressed a handgun into her side and took her purse and other paperwork. He then ran away.
Anyone with information on the robbery should call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.

Madison police are looking for a man who robbed a Loanmax employee at gunpoint.
The employee at Loanmax had locked up the store and was getting ready to get into her vehicle to leave. The suspect suddenly appeared next to her at her car. He pressed a black handgun into her side, forcibly took her purse and other paperwork from her. He then fled on foot.
Police say the suspect is a male black in 20s with a muscular build. The suspect was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, dark colored shorts with a red stripe down the side and a ball cap.
Anyone with info is asked to call Crime stoppers at 608-266-6014. Callers may eligible for a cash reward.
