Madison Police have arrested two men in connection to a robbery on Jason Place in September.

Tawan Miller was arrested on tentative charges of Armed Robbery and Burglary.

Kenneth Haynes Jr. was arrested on tentative charges of Armed Robbery - Party To A Crime and Burglary - Party To A Crime.

Madison police say west side couple was robbed at gunpoint as they parked their car at home.

According to a release, a man and woman were returning home to the 3000 block of Jason Place at about 12:26 a.m. Monday when the robbery occurred.

As the woman drove into the garage, the door began to close, but then opened again. The victims say almost immediately a man confronted the woman at the driver's side of the car, showed a gun and demanded money.

Then the robber and the woman struggled over her purse, which she eventually given up. A second robber went to the passenger side of the car and punched the man repeatedly.

A K-9 track indicated the robbers left the area in a vehicle. Witnesses told police a green SUV was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed.

Madison Police describe the robbers as black, both heavyset and between 25 to 30 years old. Both were wearing dark clothes.
