CrimeTracker15: Madison Police looking for suspect after robbery

Madison Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Walgreen's around 10:30 p.m. Friday night.

According to a release the suspect used a rock to break the glass door and enter the store at 1725 Northport Dr.

The male suspect then jumped over the cashier counter and grabbed a box of cigarettes. A female employee heard the commotion and approached the front store.

Police say she tried to stop the suspect, but he should butted her and caused her to fall. The suspect then fled the store. The employee was not injured.

Police say the suspect is an African American male in his 20s with a thin build. He was wearing a tan or brown hat, camo sweatshirt, camo pants and tan boots.
